Caliste Chong, Early Care & Education Learning Collaborative (ECELC) Project Coordinator
Caliste joined the APC in November 2016 as the Early Care and Education Learning Collaborative (ECELC) Project Coordinator. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Human Development and Family Studies from The University of Alabama. To complete her Master’s degree, Caliste worked with Voices for America’s Children in Washington, DC as a policy intern and went on to support their great work as a development associate. Caliste has been an advocate for children and families for over 10 years now, and since early 2016 she has been proudly serving as a trainer in the West Alabama ECELC working with child care providers to fight obesity and implement healthy changes in their centers.
